**What to expect? **
*We grew up with the opportunity to fish together with our dads.
Those are some of the finest memories we have! Early mornings, packed coffee
and hours by the water, whether it was from boat or land. *
*That kind of quality time we want to pass on.
For families, friends or for those of you who want to try something completely new. *
*On selected dates we arrange our family days where everyone is welcome.
You will have the opportunity to test fly fishing, borrow equipment and learn the basics with us. We are at it for about 6 hours and are there all the time to guide, help and create a safe and fun experience. *
**It will be a day filled with fishing, community, food over an open fire and simple activities for all ages. ***A day in nature, just as it should be. *

**When we started Basecamp Norden, we had a clear vision: **
"Getting more people out into the wild. Lowering the threshold for fishing and making it easy to get started. We want to create experiences that feel real, where community, learning and time on the water are just as important as the fishing itself. As well as building a place where people want to return, again and again. “
Our Mission and Vision
We grew up with fishing close to our hearts. As children, we spent countless days by the water with our parents where we learned to throw, make a fire, have a snack and discover the tranquility of nature. Those memories shaped us, and now we want to pass that opportunity on to more people.
That's why we offer guided experience days that are designed to suit everyone. Whether you come alone, with family or friends, our goal is for you to leave the day with new knowledge, new acquaintances and maybe even a new hobby.
*And most importantly: a really nice memory from Jämtland. *
We also arrange open days where everyone can come and try fishing for free. There you can borrow equipment for short moments, learn some technology, sit by the fire, meet us and other like-minded people and just experience the community around the water.
It is our way of giving back and ensuring that more people have the same joy and security in nature that we ourselves received when we were little.

The Team Behind Basecamp Norden
We are a close-knit team with common interests and a sense of humor. We care about the nature in which we live and always have respect for the fish we hunt. We are passionate about the sport
and wants to teach how to stay as gentle and safe as possible in nature.
