Sales and Delivery

Experience ticket and order confirmation will always be sent to the email address provided.

Responsibility for the experience ticket passes to you as the consumer at the time of receipt of the ticket.

Once you have paid for an experience, the experience ticket will always be sent to the email address provided.

If you do not receive an email, you should first check whether our message has ended up in your spam folder or campaign folder. If it is not there, you can contact us directly for help.

Responsibility for the experience ticket passes to you as a consumer at the time you receive the ticket by email, and you should therefore check as soon as possible that the contents of the email and the experience ticket match the order and the order confirmation.

Prices

VAT

All prices at Basecamp Norden are quoted in SEK and include VAT. The exception is experiences that, due to their content and nature, are exempt from VAT according to the rules of the VAT Act.

Experience Gift Card

Our gift cards are an amount gift card that can be used as a means of payment.

Our gift cards cannot be combined and must therefore be used individually. Please also note that discount codes cannot be used when purchasing gift cards.

Price and printing errors

We reserve the right to price and print errors on our website, social media, newsletters and other mailings by email, and reserve the right to cancel the order in the event of material and/or clear errors.

Cancellation Policy

This Refund Policy describes how refunds are handled in the event of cancellation or cancellation of activities at Basecamp Norden.

1. Refund in case of guest cancellation

Private individuals

  • Cancellation no later than 7 days before booked activity: 100% refund

  • Cancellation 2-6 days before: 50% refund

  • Cancellation within 48 hours prior to activity: no refund

Companies & Groups

  • Cancellation no later than 14 days before: 100% refund

  • Cancellation 7-13 days before: 50% refund

  • Cancellation within 7 days prior to activity: no refund

You can always transfer your seat to another person at no extra cost. But it is important that we get information about it in advance

2. Refund in case of cancelled activity

If Basecamp Norden is forced to cancel an activity due to, for example:

  • weather or water conditions

  • security risks

  • other circumstances beyond our control

are you offered:

  • a new date or

  • full refund;

Refunds apply only to the activity itself.
Basecamp Norden does not reimburse travel, accommodation or other external expenses.

3. Weather

Normal weather conditions such as rain, wind, cold or heat are not valid reasons for a refund if the activity is carried out.
We always adapt the experience to the prevailing conditions.

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method that was used when booking.

  • Refunds are normally processed within 5—10 business days of approved cancellation.

5. Equipment & Accessories

  • Fees for additional services (e.g. equipment insurance) will only be refunded if the activity is cancelled within the timeframes for full refund.

Weather conditions

Safety and good conditions are a top priority. Therefore, the weather can sometimes make it impossible to carry out the experience. Should this occur the experience manager will contact you to find a new date jointly.

If the experience manager chooses to tune

Our experience managers will of course do everything they can to help you experience your experience. However, unforeseen events can occur, such as illness, weather and the like, where there is no choice but to cancel. If this happens, you will be contacted by the responsible person by phone/SMS or e-mail.

In case of cancellation and questions regarding this, you are always welcome to contact us.

Security

Through our software provider Holdbar, we use SSL, and this means that your credit card information is processed encrypted.

If you pay by credit card, you are protected from misuse, as you can refuse a payment through your bank. In addition, you have no deductible if the credit card is misused in an online store that uses SSL. Basecamp Norden uses SSL, and this means that your credit card information is processed encrypted.

Liability & Insurance

Participation in Basecamp Norden's activities is partly at your own risk. Our activities are carried out in a natural and mountain environment where weather, terrain and other external factors can affect the experience.

Basecamp Norden is responsible for ensuring that the activities are carried out in a safe and professional manner and that the necessary safety equipment is available if necessary. At the same time, the participant is responsible for following the guide's instructions and using equipment responsibly.

The participant is responsible for having appropriate personal insurance, such as accident insurance. Basecamp Norden is not responsible for personal belongings lost or damaged during the activity.

When booking, the customer is responsible for informing about any illnesses, allergies or other conditions that may be relevant to the activity.

Requirements upon arrival to the experience

You are requested to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the experience. Upon arrival to the experience, you should be able to document your booking via your ticket or booking confirmation.

Personal data

  • We register your personal data in order to deliver the goods to you.
  • The personal data is registered with Basecamp Norden and stored for five years, after which the data is deleted.

When you purchase an experience at Basecamp Norden, we need the following information:

We register your personal data in order to deliver the goods to you. We ask for your phone number in order to be able to provide you with good service if something unforeseen happens upon delivery of your order confirmation, upon delivery of gift box or on the day of your experience.

The personal data is registered with Basecamp Norden and stored for five years, after which the data is deleted. If you have used your experience in the meantime, we will delete most of your data 30 days after the completion of the experience or redemption of your experience certificate from the experience controller. We must continue to store names and addresses for five years according to the Accounting Act.

When personal data is collected through our website, we ensure that it is always done with your explicit consent, so that you are informed about what data is being collected and why.

We do not store and transmit customer data encrypted. Information provided to Basecamp Norden is not forwarded or sold, and we do not record any sensitive personal data. As a registered customer of Basecamp Norden, you always have the right to object to the registration and you have the right to gain insight into what data is registered about you. You have these rights according to the PUL and requests in connection with this are addressed to Basecamp Norden by e-mail.

Your rights

In connection with purchases, identity and transaction data are stored in accordance with applicable legislation.

If your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
