This is an eventful day where the focus is on experiencing something new! We meet in the morning and run a joint briefing, equip you completely, go to the water and then teach you how to fly fish for trout and grayling here in the mountains!
Our guide is Mårten Rode who grew up in the area. Daniel Jakobsson also teaches.
We cook over an open fire and have a snack. Our guides are actively involved, teaching and answering questions throughout the day!
With no previous experience required**, we teach you all the basics during the day so that you yourself can develop further and find your own adventures along the river.

Today's Setup
- Try fly fishing — a full day experience in Jämtland
Time: 09:00 — 17:00 (incl. coffee and closing until 17:00)
** 09:00 -- Gathering & Breakfast**
We meet in klövsjö and go to our base in the bowl. The day starts with coffee, introduction to fishing care, safety and a review of the day's setup.
** 09:45 -- Equipment & Dismisses**
You are allowed to borrow waders, rods and all necessary equipment. Then leaves
We go to the fishing grounds to start the day off!
** 10:30 -- Throwing training**
We jointly go through the basics of fly throwing, then place
We will take you to good places by the water and continue learning in throwing techniques and start fishing for real!
** 12:30 -- Lunch over an open fire**
We pause by the fire and cook a good lunch + drink and coffee/tea.
** 13:30 -- Fishing continues**
The rest of the afternoon we spend fishing in beautiful waters. Our guides will continue to teach and help throughout the day! The fire is always on for those who want to take a break.
** 15:30 -- Closing coffee**
Back to the venue for refreshments, reflections and the opportunity to talk more about equipment and fishing tips for your now new hobby and future adventures along the river.
** 4:00 PM -- Day Ends**

Our Mission and Vision
We grew up with fishing close to our hearts. As children, we spent countless days by the water with our parents where we learned to throw, make a fire, have a snack and discover the tranquility of nature. Those memories shaped us, and now we want to pass that opportunity on to more people.
That's why we offer guided experience days that are designed to suit everyone. Whether you come alone, with family or friends, our goal is for you to leave the day with new knowledge, new acquaintances and maybe even a new hobby.

We also arrange open days where everyone can come and try fishing for free. There you can borrow equipment for short moments, learn some technology, sit by the fire, meet us and other like-minded people and just experience the community around the water.
It is our way of giving back and ensuring that more people have the same joy and security in nature that we ourselves received when we were little.
